HoM saw remarkable improvements to their conversion rate and average order value, and their team reported substantial improvements in flexibility and ease-of-use.

Year one: a 175% increase in conversion rate

HoM published their Platter storefront on October 21st, 2022, and made their first large investment in driving traffic to the store in tandem. Within their first year of using Platter, House of Macadamias witnessed a significant 175% increase in their online store's conversion rate, and their Platter storefront's highly-optimized conversion funnel paired with a strong marketing mix sustained a 4.56% conversion rate from October 2022 through October 2023.

Year one: a 40% increase in average order value

HoM changed their product catalog and increased prices at the end of 2022. The remaining lift in their average order value came from upsells and cross-sells embedded throughout their Platter purchase funnel, including in the cart drawer.

From launch in 2022 through early 2024: a sustained 4.18% conversion rate

The below screenshot compares November of 2022 through January 2024 to the same time period in 2020 through 2022. While the 3-digit improvement to conversion rate is largely due to the introduction of high-intent customers during this time period, a conversion rate higher than 4% sustained over 16 months is a clear testament to a seamless conversion funnel courtesy of Platter.
